My name is Mike Daddona. I started Daddona Construction in 1989, and have been involved in every  aspect of the company from then until now. I have always strove toward developing a systematic, yet flexible, multifaceted company. Prior to going into business for myself, graduated from Watertown High School in 1984, attended Bible College in Baton Rouge, LA for three years, Kaynor Tech. post high night school in Waterbury for carpentry for one year, and Industrial Management & Training Institute in Waterbury for electrical for one year. During the first five years of Daddona Construction I also served as a welder in the Air Force Reserve. My family and I have lived in Bethlehem since 1996. My wife Irene, and I, were married Jan. 1991. We  have three children; Michael, born in ‘91, Joseph, born in ‘93, and Rachael, born in ‘96. In addition to family and business, my interests include philosophy and rock, country, and blues music. Besides continuing to grow, and improve our company, my plans for the future include Christian ministry and music. I hope that we can be of great service to you.

My name is Roman Pawelczyk and I am Daddona Construction's primary Project Manager. I graduated from Seymour High in 1997, and presently live in Oxford. I started my career in the trades working for Eagle Sheet Metal out of West Hartford. I have also worked for Gianni & Sons out of Wolcott, and Project Managed a 42-house subdivision in Oxford. Prior to becoming a part owner of Daddona Construction I owned my own contracting business for 8 years. I have been involved in many phases of construction. My experience ranges from heavy equipment and excavation to finished flooring installation and elaborate trim. My area of expertise is in the area of coordinating the multi-phase process necessary to get your project done in as timely a manor as possible. Out side of business my interests include hunting, fishing, golf, & NASCAR. I look forward to meeting you and working with you.

My name is Irene Daddona. I have been working for Daddona Construction as the book keeper since 2004. I also work at my sister’s restaurant, Nonna Lucia’s, in Watertown. And formerly, I was a realtor with Key Pros Realty in Watertown for seven years. I was born and raised in the Town Plot section of Waterbury, graduated from Kennedy High School in 1988, and received an Associates degree from Mattatuck Community College. I have been married to Mike since 1991, and we now live in Bethlehem with our three children. I enjoy Italian culture, teaching Sunday school at the church we attend, and spending time with my family and friends.

My name is Tom Duffany. I am Daddona Construction's primary designer. I graduated from Thomaston High School in 1985 and went on to receive an Associates Degree from Waterbury State Technical College. I worked at a small Thomaston business after school, designing homes and preparing technical manuals for Sikorsky Aircraft.  I then went on to a Design Engineer's position at B/E Aerospace for the next ten years. Following that I went to work with a friend of mine at his residential design company. Shortly after the start of my employment there, my friend and coworker was diagnosed with cancer and passed just 6 months later. We were able to work out a deal for me to buy the business, during his illness. I have owned Construction Design since 1999. Also that same year I got married and built our home, in Northfield, which is where I currently reside with my wife Kim and our 3 children, Kristine, Donald and Thomas III. My wife is the Medical Assistance teacher at Stone Academy, in Waterbury. I operate my business out of our home. I have field experience in logging, excavation, concrete, framing, roofing, siding, masonry, tile work, finish carpentry and landscaping. My diverse background of abilities and lifelong interest in home design has culminated into a job that I enjoy going to, every day.

My name is Rick Merrell. As principal of Merrell Associates, Architect and Planners, I have been engaged in architectural practice for over 20 years, fifteen of which has been with my present firm. For six years, I was a principal in the Worcester, Mass. architectural firm of TASC, Inc. I was educated at Syracuse University and Boston Architectural Center, and I hold a Connecticut and New York Architectural Registration and national accreditation.  As architects who have served the Greater Waterbury area since 1982, we have an understanding and sensitivity of the needs and special requirements that are involved in long term planning. During this time we have had the privilege of designing a variety of projects utilizing a wide scope of styles and materials.  As design professionals, Merrell Associates is a comprehensive architectural and planning firm that has considerable experience in both the public and private sectors. We specialize in resolving complex zoning issues and concerns, with an emphasis upon the community, neighborhood, and marketing concerns.


My name is James Gannuscio. I was born and raised in Belfast, Ireland. I immigrated to the United States when I was 20 years old. I attended college at Hull in England, and N.Y.U. in New York.  Currently, I am living in the Town Plot section of Waterbury. My wife and I have been married since 2000, and we have two daughters. My interests include reading and international travel, and I previously played in a rugby league for many years. I am usually involved in all phases of most Daddona Construction projects, with carpentry being my specialty.

My name is Rick Wisniewski.  I was born in 1954 in Waterbury.  Prior to joining the DC Team I was in business for myself for 30 years.  I was involved in all phases of construction which included additions, remodeling, custom cabinet making, and fine woodworking.  I learned my carpentry skills from a “Master Carpenter,” my father, Richard Wisniewski.  I started working with my father when I was only 5 years old and then worked by his side for many, many years.  I thank my Dad for handing down his knowledge and skills of carpentry to me so that I too can be a “Master Carpenter” for the DC Team.

My wife and I live in Beacon Falls.  We got married in 1974 and have 2 sons.  My wife's name is Dawn and my sons are Jake, born in 1976 and Luke, born in 1981.  My son Jake and his wife, Sarah, gave us three beautiful granddaughters.  Emily, born in 2002, Hannah, born in 2004, and Ella Rose, born in 2009. My wife, two older granddaughters and I are very involved with horses.  One of my favorite hobbies is Team Roping.  My wife and granddaughter Barrel Race.  Another hobby I get to do every now and then is play golf.

My name is Pete Paradis. I was born and raised in Bristol, Connecticut. I attended college at Norwich University and Central Connecticut State University in New Britain. I’m single, and live with my girlfriend. Together we have two grown boys and three girls. I enjoy spending time on the water boating and fishing, and spending time at our cottage at the shore. My other interests include hiking and camping during the winter, target shooting, motorcycle riding and amateur radio. Being an A.S.E. Master Mechanic, I worked as a mechanic for forty years and owned an automotive and truck repair shop for twelve years. I enjoy working on most construction equipment and sometimes in the field.
